MySQL errors when attemting to create database.
MySQL errors when attemting to create database.
Solution
On a new Plesk installation, you may receive the following error when attempting to create a MySQL database:
"Unable to create database due to network problems"
By default, Plesk will install MySQL, but will leave the service set to disabled and stopped'. You will need to log into your VPS as administrator, navigate to 'Start -> Administrative Tools -> Services'. Find the MySQL service, change the startup state to 'automatic', and start the service.
You should now be able to create MySQL databases via Plesk.
